So – last Monday was the final day of the Weight loss challenge and I didn’t post because I lost the picture I took of the scale that morning.  Now, if you trust me you’ll be excited to know my final weight was 214.7 (Weeee….minor progress in 4 weeks – I rock!)

If  you don’t trust me…I am going to continue weighing myself on Monday mornings and you will get to continue to see my progress….LUCKY YOU! My goal continues to be 200, with 210 being my next exciting milestone – I will celebrate 210 with cake!

I’m cheating on Dr. Yo with a new naturopath on Thursday. I feel bad about it because Dr. Yo is so cute, but I stopped seeing her ages ago and I feel like if I went crawling back now she’s secretly give me advice that would cause me to gain weight and die. She would never actually do this because at nearly 100 d0llars an hour she’s the nicest most supportive human being ever, but I worry anyways.

Also, my sister got engaged last week and I’ve been (only half joking) telling people at work that I’m going to get engaged by December. I’m vaguely serious about this, because I think giving myself this deadline could make a great story. I could publish said story and make millions, which would then make my husband hunt obsolete (because I could just buy one).

Chapter One will be about my exes and titled “If you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it” …Beyoncé be damned

(I know I skipped Week 3 – let’s accept that and move on) There has been a tiny bit of progress! Not much, but its very exciting since my weekend went a little like this:

etc…

Poutine from Smoke’s Poutinery LOOKS like the best poutine you could ever have in the entire world; however, it didn’t really live up to the ‘best poutine in Toronto’ claim. Regardless it was a fun night out with friends and I would go again.

This poster in the subway for Project Runway Canada haunts me. Who is she kidding? Those can’t be real… I feel like they’re following me as I walk from one end of the subway platform to the other… And I wouldn’t be surprised if she killed every single one of those little paper-cutout people by smothering them in her giant bosom.

mom:    (out of nowwhere – we were talking about groceries) …are you happy?
me:        yeah I guess so….

mom:    Do your friends have my home phone number?
me:       Sure….why?
mom:     Well I want to be sure they know to call me in case you get shot on the subway like that guy.
me:    sigh
